๐Ÿ“‹ 1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Zeretis solver ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including free accounts, paid subscribers, API users, students, teachers, and parents acting on behalf of minor children.

โš™๏ธ 2. The Service

Zeretis provides a deterministic symbolic mathematics solver accessible via web browser and API. The solver processes mathematical expressions and returns exact, step-by-step solutions.

Important: Zeretis is a deterministic symbolic computation tool, not an AI system. Results are mathematically exact. However, you are responsible for verifying that inputs are correctly specified before relying on outputs for critical applications.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

๐Ÿ‘ค 3. Accounts

A Google account is required to use Zeretis โ€” including the free tier. We use it only to track anonymous usage counts to enforce the monthly limit. No query content is stored. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

Minors

Users under 13 must have parental consent. Parents and guardians who create or authorize accounts for minors take full responsibility for that minor's use of the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent.

๐Ÿ’ณ 4. Billing & Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing you also agree to Paddle's terms of service. Zeretis does not store your payment card details.

  • Monthly plans auto-renew each month until cancelled
  • 4-Month plans auto-renew every 4 months until cancelled
  • Annual plans auto-renew each year until cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time via the Manage Account page โ€” access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are handled at our discretion and processed through Paddle

โœ… 5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the solver engine
  • Share API keys or account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Use the Service in ways that could harm, overload, or impair it
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission

ยฉ๏ธ 6. Intellectual Property

The Zeretis solver engine, website, branding, and all associated software remain the property of Zeretis. You retain ownership of any mathematical expressions you input.

Solver outputs (solutions, steps, results) may be used freely for personal, educational, or commercial purposes. You may not resell solver outputs as a standalone product.

โš ๏ธ 7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While the solver produces mathematically exact results for well-formed inputs, Zeretis makes no warranty regarding fitness for a particular purpose.

Do not rely solely on solver output for safety-critical engineering, medical, or legal decisions. Always verify results through appropriate professional channels.

โš–๏ธ 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zeretis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Zeretis in the 12 months preceding the claim.

๐Ÿšช 9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the Manage Account page. Active subscriptions will be cancelled and any remaining access period honoured upon your request.

๐Ÿ“ 10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

โœ‰๏ธ 11. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact us at legal@zeretis.com or via our contact page.

๐Ÿ” 1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Zeretis collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information. We are committed to transparency and to collecting only what we need.

Short version: We collect your email (for accounts), solve counts (to enforce limits), and basic usage data (to improve the product). We don't sell your data. Ever.

๐Ÿ“ฆ 2. What we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name from Google's OAuth service. We do not receive your Google password.

Usage data

We log your monthly solve count associated with your account, to enforce the free tier limit. We do not log or store the content of your mathematical queries.

Technical data

Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and timestamps. Used for security monitoring and not linked to your identity.

What we do NOT collect

  • Payment card details (handled entirely by Paddle)
  • The content of your math queries
  • Precise location data
  • Contacts, photos, or device files
  • Data from third-party websites

๐Ÿ”ง 3. How we use your data

  • To provide and maintain the solver service
  • To enforce free tier limits and verify subscription status
  • To send important account or service notices (not marketing, unless you opt in)
  • To improve solver accuracy and performance
  • To investigate and prevent abuse or fraud

๐Ÿค 4. Sharing your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Paddle: Your email is passed to Paddle to link payments to your account. Paddle processes all billing data under their own privacy policy.
  • Google: Sign-in is handled by Google OAuth. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of authentication data.
  • Legal requirement: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

๐Ÿ’ณ 5. Payments & Paddle

All payment processing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle stores your billing information, processes charges, and handles tax compliance across jurisdictions. Zeretis never sees or stores your card number, CVV, or full billing address.

Paddle's privacy policy is available at paddle.com/legal/privacy.

๐Ÿ‘ถ 6. Children's Privacy

Zeretis is designed to be safe for students of all ages when used under appropriate supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@zeretis.com and we will delete it promptly.

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ 7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You can delete your account at any time from the Manage Account page.

โš–๏ธ 8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability โ€” receive your data in a machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@zeretis.com.

๐Ÿ”’ 9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure โ€” if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
